Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 Regular $70.00 Special Price: $35.00
Wine Spectator 92 Pts.
Deep red. Varietally correct, with all the right ‘ingredients’ – dried herbs, tobacco, mint, rosemary and thyme. Familiar aromas of cold roasted lamb, dark olive and pulpy tomato attest to regional and varietal parentage. An olive savoriness sitting over a powdery coffee-ground base are the first two flavor/textural descriptors that register. Then, blackcurrant, mulberry, boysenberry fruits complemented by a tomato puree sweetness. Finishes clean and long, courted throughout by compliant Cabernet tannins.

Sleight of Hand Illusionist Reserve Cabernet 2016 Retail: $65 Price: $56.99
Wine Spectator 93 Points
The 2016 Illusionist Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 20 months in 64% new French oak. Comprised primarily of Estate fruit from our vineyard blocks in the Walla Walla, Red Mtn., and Horse Heaven Hills AVA's, this stunning wine represents an incredibly complex, elegant, classic Cabernet Sauvignon. The deep, opaque ruby red color leads to aromas and flavors of herbs, spicebox, and tobacco, along with leather, black cherry, vanilla bean, and copious amounts of cassis, graphite, and dark red and black fruits. This wine is beautifully balanced, with terrific acidity, a full, rich texture, and mouth coating, fine grained tannins that lead to a long finish. Drink this over the next two decades.
